Complimentary Home Staging
This house was empty when the seller hired us. We brought in furnishings to showcase the home at its best.
Home staging helps sellers get the highest possible price in any market.
We give it to you at no additional cost.
How do we do this? Staging typically requires sellers to invest between $500 and $5,000. But our clients are in a unique position because Erin McGinnis, in addition to being a Realtor, is an accredited home stager and she stages all of our listings at no additional cost to our clients! This ranges from consultations to the full staging of a vacant house.
BEFORE AND AFTER: This house had been a rental property and it was empty when the seller hired us. We added the right furnishings to create a cheerful and complete space that buyers can connect to -- both online and in person. The home sold in 10 days!
We know that home staging is critical to the successful sale of houses, so a several years ago we made a business decision that would ensure that all of our clients’ homes are staged: we would include staging as part of our service.
What is home staging?
Home staging is the act of preparing and showcasing a house for sale. Professional home stagers apply their knowledge of real estate, home renovations and creative design to attract a buyer.
Preparing a property involves all or part of cleaning, de-cluttering, updating and repairing, while showcasing is the process of arranging furniture, accessories, art and light.
It’s true that buying a home involves lots of numbers, but even so, it’s largely an emotional process. Before someone will buy a home, they must connect to it emotionally. Erin uses the right furnishings and accessories to create impressive spaces that show off the home’s potential and capture a buyer’s interest.
This is a living room we staged in an occupied home. We removed some furniture, rearranged what was left and staged the room with a mix of our furnishings and the seller’s furnishings.
Should you paint your living room? Dining room? Entire house? What about those shiny brass fixtures from the ’80s — do they need to be replaced? There are a lot of decisions to make when getting your house ready to sell and it can be confusing. But we’re here to help! We’ll tell you step-by-step what you can do to prepare your home to sell for top dollar, including low-cost fixes that make a big impact.
